This is where we left off. The painting is done, the landscaping is bare.

There's much to do |

Plants can't go back until all the leftover dirt is removed. Yikes, there's a lot of dirt left!

This pile (and all the buried cement blocks and bricks) still needs to "move" to the back yard before this side of the porch will be ready.

Seems a part of the original brick wall plus the ORIGINAL cement from previous steps was buried under the dirt. We're going to take advantage of this built-in drainage border in the new garden.

|
Well, the "dirt" is gone, the soil has been turned over and is ready for peat moss, top soil, and other goodies to help the new garden grow.

|
First plantings are in. There are still plenty of plants to be moved around, but this is a wonderful start to the new front garden.
